Western offers several options to support the health of our students. Whether the issue is a mental health issue (anxiety, depression, stress), a situational problem (relationship, academic, financial stress), or a physical health issue, help is available.

Western offers the following services for students:

  • TimelyCare – receive mental health or physical health services through an app on your phone.ÌýFree to Western students as part of your enrollment.

What is TimelyCare?timelycare ad

TimelyCare provides mental health and physical health resources to Western students, free of charge*.ÌýYou can see a doctor, talk to a counselor, get a prescription, and more.

*for counseling sessions, up to 6 appointments are free. After that, students will be responsible for a fee to continue counseling

  • Explore the app: Check out the self-care content, speak to a counselor now or make anÌýappointment, or get care from a medical providerÌý

CONFIDENTIALITY

Information disclosed to the counselor is kept confidential and would only be released in the followingÌýcircumstances:

  • with the written consent/permission of the student;
  • as required by law (suspected physical or sexual abuse or neglect of a child or incapacitatedÌýadult, if you appear to be a threat to yourself or someone else);
  • by court order; and/or

Emergency Assistance

If you are experiencing an emergency after hours, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
